Paid campaign advertisements from the Re-Elect Mayor Clinton Committee: a series of one-minute “progress reports” from Mayor Clinton. Topics include recent achievements and improvements for 1.) business and tourism; 2.) Seattle Police Department and Seattle Fire Department; 3.) traffic; 4.) libraries and parks projects; 5.) City government operations, such as Seattle Water Department billing system and Civil Defense; and 6.) formation of the Metropolitan Council to address pollution in Lake Washington; 7.) water supply and the Tolt River Project; and 8.) Urban Renewal Program: Yesler/Atlantic. Narrated by Mayor Gordon Clinton

Includes footage of Seattle waterfront, the Mayor’s office, aerial shots of downtown and Ballard, a shot of police cars and firetrucks coming out of the downtown headquarters, police motorcycles in a parade downtown, the Alaskan Way Viaduct extension, the Empireway extension, Garfield Street overpass, Seattle Public Library Central Branch at 5th & Spring (new at the time), Volunteer Park (wading pool and playground), Seattle Water Department facilities, and the Yesler/Atlantic neighborhood.
