- Photographs associated with damage claims against the City. Claim numbers or case names are not always associated with images. Buses, street scenes, landslides and sidewalks are frequent subjects of images, as well as images of claims personnel. Photographs associated with claims can also be found in the Engineering Department Negatives and Seattle City Light negatives in the "C" series; search "claims" in Digital Collections. Less than ten images were scanned from this series and can be found by searching Digital Collections under the series number 0209-01. The Claims Division was traditionally within the finance division, later becoming part of risk management. In 2010, Risk Management and the Claims Division became part of the newly formed Finance and Adminsitrative Services (DAS).
