- Biography
- Martha Lester was a Central Staff analyst from 1989-2015. She received a M.S. in Urban Transportation Planning and a J.D. from the University of Washington. She previously worked as a transportation planner for a Seattle area consulting firm, as a law clerk to two federal judges and as a teacher at UW School of Law. During her tenure she covered transportation, land use, capital project planning and financing, and city organizational issues and was the Central Staff’s lead analyst for transportation, including Sound Transit (RTA).
