Biography
Fort Worth native, Veronica Williams keeps busy on and off the musical stage. The accomplished singer, actress, composer, playwright, and published poet, has written several volumes of music and conducts choral workshops around the country. Recognized for her moving melodies and expressive lyrics, her poetry in music has awarded her a broad and loyal audience. In March 2001, the celebrated artist launched her first literary work - "Visions: A Trilogy" - (Eronique Publishing) a compilation of three books of poetry. In 1995, Williams moved to New York to pursue a career in theatre. Wasting no time, she landed the role of Lillie Mae in Don Evans' "Blues for a Gospel Queen" with Tramaine Hawkins.
