- The 'sultress of Soul,' a name perfectly suited for the woman with such an unbelievably flawless voice unmatched in the Northwest today. Since her move to Seattle in 1984, Korla has gained a massive following and complete respect from the entertainment field as a true artist's artist. Aside from playing in the local club circuit, you may have seen Korla on the big stage opening for national acts such as Bobby Caldwell, Grover Washington Jr., and Ray Charles. She has performed at the many festivals around town, like Bumbershoot and the Bite of Seattle.
