Resolution 17432 established the Fire Prevention Code Advisory Board in 1957. Its 15 members were chosen from groups including the American Institute of Architects, the Seattle Chamber of Commerce, the Washington Natural Gas Association, and city agencies such as the Building Department and Fire Department.
