Clise, his heirs, associates, successors and assigns, the right, privilege and authority to erect and maintain gas works, and to lay down, maintain and operate pipes in the streets, alleys, and public places in the City of Ballard for the transmission, supply, distribution and sale of heating and illuminating gas.
