Ordinance 875, 1905-03-28
Abstract
An Ordinance proposing to the voters residing within the corporate limits of the City of Ballard that they assent to and ratify the attempted incurring by the acts of the corporate authorities of said city of certain indebtedness on the part of said city purporting to be evidenced by certain warrants issued by said authorities prior to March 9th, A. D., 1905, and in this ordinance classified, and providing for the holding of an election for that purpose at which said voters may vote for or against such assent to and ratification of the incurring of the indebtedness represented by the specified class of said warrants and declaring the effect of any votes cast at such election whereby three-fifths of the voters within the corporate limits of said city voting thereat shall assent to and ratify the incurred of said indebtedness as classified and prescribing the conditions upon which such attempted indebtedness shall be validated and become a binding obligation.
