Ordinance 932, 1905-08-22
Abstract
An Ordinance amending Section 1 of Ordinance No. 876, entitled, "An Ordinance proposing to the voters in the City of Ballard the issuance and sale of bonds of the City of Ballard in the sum of $75,000.00 or such lesser sum as shall be sufficient for the funding of such warrants heretofore issued on the part of said city prior to March 9, 1905, by the corporate authorities of said city, drawn payable out of the current expense fund of said city and in this ordinance particularly described, and validated and ratified in pursuance of this ordinance and Ordinance No. 875 of said city by the requisite number of voters of said city and providing for the holding of an election at which said voters may vote for or against such proposition, and providing for the form of said bonds and providing for the issuance and sale of such bonds in case three-fifths of the voters in said city, voting at such election, shall thereby assent to such issuance and sale thereof, and declaring the effect of any votes cast at such election whereby three-fifths of the voters in said city, voting thereat shall thereby assent to such issuance and sale thereof," passed by the City Council of the City of Ballard, Washington, on the 28th day of March, A. D. 1905, and approved by the mayor and published in the official newspaper of said city according to law; and also prescribing the form of coupons to be attached to the bonds in said Ordinance No. 876 authorized.
