Abstract
An ordinance repealing Ordinance No. 35 of the City of Columbia, being an ordinance entitled "An ordinance providing for the improvement of the easterly one-half of Caldwell Street from the southerly boundary line of the City of Columbia to a point where said Caldwell Street is intersected by the southerly boundary line produced, of the City of Columbia, as the same extends across tract no. thirty-five (35) of Frye's Addition to the Town (now City) of Columbia; all of Caldwell Street from the point last above mentioned to the southwesterly marginal line of Rainier Avenue, the southwesterly one-half of Rainier Avenue from the center line of Caldwell Street to the southerly marginal line of Conover Street; all of Winston Street from the northerly boundary line of Mount Baker Avenue to the northerly boundary line of Americus Street; all of Hudson Street from the westerly marginal line produced of lot fifteen in block two of said Frye's Addition to the westerly marginal line of Milton-Noble Street; and all of Americus Street from the easterly marginal line of Caldwell Street to the westerly marginal line of Milton-Noble Street; all in the said City of Columbia, by clearing, grubbing, grading, sidewalking, guttering, and curbing said streets, or parts of streets between said points, under the five-year bonding system, and the payment of the cost thereof by means of local assessment," and providing for the abandonment of said proposed improvement.
