Ordinance 84, 1904-04-05
Abstract
An Ordinance creating an indebtedness against the Town of West Seattle, Washington, in the sum of Eighteen Thousand ($18,000.00) Dollars for the purpose of installing and electric street railway Power Plant and Equipment for said town, to be owned and controlled by said town, specifying and adopting a plan or system therefor and declaring the estimated cost thereof, as near as may be; providing for the borrowing of the said sum of Eighteen Thousand ($18,000.00) Dollars for such purpose by issuing and selling the negotiable general municipal coupon bonds of said town therefor, in case three-fifths of the voters of said town voting at a special election held for that purpose shall thereby assent to such issue and sale thereof, an for the calling of a special election for the submitting to the qualified electors of said town the ratification or rejection of said plan and system of electric street railway system so adopted, and the creation of said indebtedness and the issuance of said bonds therefor.
