Correspondence, memoranda, surveys, reports, studies, and hearings materials generated by City Council's central staff analysts in support of the Council's legislative activities. Primary subjects relate to the major functions and issues of City government including land use, public utilities management, housing, human services, public safety, traffic and transportation, comprehensive planning, parks and recreation, arts and cultural affairs, economic development, environment and sustainability, and general government administration.

Biographical

Norm Schwab was a Central Staff Analyst, working for the City of Seattle for more than thirty years. Schwab served on several commissions and supervised legislative staff. His work for the City centered on developing local legislation and political policy planning. Prior to working for the City of Seattle, Schwab earned a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Studies and Affairs from Case Western Reserve University, followed by a Master's degree in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning from the University of Washington.
