Contains the emails and attachments of the Central Staff Director and Central Staff Analysts. These records relate to the functions and work of Central Staff Analysts, including energy, housing, public safety, education, civil rights, land use, human services, community development, government finances and budget, transportation, sustainability, and native communities. These records include correspondence, memos, drafts, budget proposals, surveys, reports, and research in according with Central Staff Analyst functions.

Biographical

Rebecca Herzfeld was a Central Staff analyst from 2004-2015. She recieved a B.A. Urban Planning from the University of Washington. She previously she was a division director, first in what is now the Department of Planning and Development, and later in the Department of Neighborhoods. She has also led the development of land use, environmental and transportation policies and regulations in various incarnations of the City’s planning offices.
