From the Series:

Project and subject files of a unit in the Department’s Family and Youth Services Division that was responsible for programs to strengthen and support families and administer Families and Education Levy funding. Programs included family support centers, the Family Support Worker Program, and programs to involve parents in the education of their children. Programs to assist families of immigrants included the Asian/Pacific Islander Parent Education Project, the Immigrant and Refugee Family Support Project, and the New Citizen Initiative. Also included are records concerning administration of the Seattle Community Public Health and Safety Network, which was one of the networks created by the State Legislature to involve citizens in improving local conditions for children and families.
