Labor Management Leadership Committee Records
Scope and Contents Note
Agendas, minutes, and background information for the Labor Management Leadership Committee. The Committee's focus is to facilitate face-to-face communication between labor and management leaders and to gather and share ideas of mutual concern, build consensus, and research and explore new models and approaches to collaboration.
The Labor Management Leadership Committee (LMLC) consists of the Mayorâs Chief of Staff, three Councilmembers, six department heads, eleven union representatives, and the Director of the City Budget Office, the Director of the Department of Human Resources (SDHR), and SDHRâs Labor Relations Director. Established in 1996, the LMLC exists to provide a forum for the City and city union representatives to strengthen working relationships, share information, and constructively reach solutions to problems. Negotiations are conducted only at Labor Relations Policy Committee (LRPC) meetings and not at LMLC meetings.
