Scope and Contents note The Fire Fighters' Pension Board was responsible for oversight of the Fire Fighters' Pension Fund, which was established by ordinance in 1909. It was originally called the Firemen's Pension Fund Board, then changed its name to the Firemen's Disability Board in 1970. It was renamed the Fire Fighters' Pension Board in 1976.
