Deeds to the City providing legal evidence of property ownership by the City. Includes quit claim deeds, warranty deeds, leases, easements, deeds of dedication, and other property instruments. Records are incomplete for deeds numbered 1-5900.

Scope and Contents note An automated index is maintained by the Office of the City Clerk. It includes deed or easement number, date filed with the City Clerk, King County recording number, authorizing City ordinance number, name of grantor, and legal description of the property. The old manual back-up indexes (1884-1992) include volumes recording deeds alphabetically by plat or township/range coordinates.
