Human Rights Commission Minutes
The 12-member Human Rights Commission was established in 1963 to promote equality and understanding among Seattle residents, and to study, investigate, and recommend actions in regard to discrimination based on race, color, religion, and national origin. The Commission was appointed by the mayor and reported to the Executive Department.
