Public documents and research notes that were gathered in the process of writing a history of the Seattle Water Department.

Scope and Contents note Water Department photographs depicting projects and property. The negatives date from 1899-1978. Over 3400 are digitized and available on the digital collections site; the majority date from 1900 to the mid-1940s. The over 8,000 unscanned negatives date from the mid-1940s to 1978; descriptions of negatives are available in the finding aid.
