These cards list ordinances in numerical order with a short title, Council Bill number, and date approved. Information is sketchy between 1883-1910. Included are some entries from Ballard, Columbia City, and Georgetown.
Ordinances
Permanent laws of the City passed by City Council and signed by the Mayor. Includes ordinance number, title, text, date passed, and signatures. In some instances, background correspondence and affidavits of publication are filed in the ordinance jackets. Most ordinances from number 1 to 254 are not extant. Ordinances 255 to 1068 are found in bound volumes. All other ordinances are microfiched and hardcopy is arranged numerically in boxes.
Pacific Science Center Foundation Minutes

Plan of Seattle (Bogue Plan)
Comprehensive plan for the City prepared by Virgil C. Bogue, an engineering consultant from New York. Also known as the Bogue Plan, it recommended replanning along European boulevard lines, improved transportation system, adoption of the Olmsted Brothers parks plan, relocation of the Civic Center, and development of the Port of Seattle. Approved 18-3 by the Commission, the plan was rejected by Seattle voters in 1912.

Police Pension Board Minutes
The Police Pension Board was responsible for oversight of the Police Relief and Pension Fund, which was established by ordinance in 1909. Minutes document topics discussed and detail attendance by board members and staff. Board business primarily concerned consideration of specific claims, but also covered some policy issues such as Medicare, alcohol treatment, hearing aids, and health insurance coverage.

Policy Planning Agenda Working Files
Reports, correspondence, and staff notes regarding the policy planning process. A 1977 Resolution established a collaborative process by which the Mayor and City Council would develop agreed upon policies. The Agendas were devised as two-year documents that were updated annually. The process created a policy catalog and index to policies to be accessible to the public and City officials.

Schell Mail (Newsletter)
Schell Mail was an email newsletter sent out by the mayor discussing city programs and current issues. It did not have a regular publication schedule but usually went out about two or three times a month. Records consist of printed copies of the newsletters plus replies from constituents about issues discussed in the publication. Records are arranged chronologically.
Paul Schell Weekly Reports

Dating from November 28 through December 29, 1999, the correspondence expressed both support and condemnation of the Mayor's and Police Department's actions. Seattle residents as well as national and international correspondents are represented. Series also includes some transcribed phone messages.
Mayor Paul Schell Moving Images
Videotapes of press conferences held by Mayor Schell regarding the World Trade Organization (WTO) meeting and demonstrations in 1999, Transfer of Development Rights and Census 2000. The nine VHS tapes date from November 1998 to July 2000, and are cataloged separately in the Digital Collections.
School Traffic Safety Committee Minutes
The School Traffic Safety Commission was established in 1975, charged with advising the Mayor and City Council on issues relating to school traffic safety. The commission also served as a liaison between the city and the Seattle Public School District. Minutes cover such topics as crosswalks, school buses, crossing guards, traffic signals, and safety education.
Schooner Wawona Records
Documentation collected by the Parks Department about the historic ship Wawona in preparation for a Preservation Memorandum of Agreement to be signed by the City, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Northwest Seaport, and the Washington State Department of Archaeology and Historic Preservation.
