Compilation of temperature and precipitation data for cities and towns in the State of Washington. Includes averages, highs and lows, daily records, and other pertinent weather information. Also includes average temperature and precipitation maps. Reports were produced by the United States Weather Bureau.

Motor Transportation Division annual reports date from 1965 and 1969. They include narrative and statistical information relating to automotive services, communications, and warehousing services.

Proceedings of Municipal Art Commission meetings, 1955-1969.

The Municipal Art Commission Subject Files, 1955-1969, contain correspondence, memoranda, reports, and press clippings relating to the programs, activities, and administration of the Commission.

The Seattle Municipal Code codifies all general ordinances currently in effect. The Code is indexed by subject and arranged by title, chapter, and section. Predecessors to the Municipal Code include numerous compilations of City ordinances published between 1884 and 1938, often organized in subject arrangements. These earlier compilations were referred to variously as General Ordinances or Codes. The Office of the City Clerk maintains an automated, full text index to the Municipal Code.

Annual reports of the Municipal Court of Seattle. Also included are Municipal Traffic Court and Traffic Violations Bureau reports.

Correspondence, memoranda, and reports relating to activities of the City's publicly owned golf courses. Includes statistics on rounds of golf played, receipts, rates and fees, and concessions. Also included are photographs, diagrams of courses, material on cooperative arrangements with public school golf teams, course regulations, and policies of the City's recreational golf program.

Records concerning the management of Seattle's municipal golf courses.

Semi-monthly newsletter on local government. Many missing issues. Topics include local government at the city, county and state levels. Coverage of activity in all departments on topics ranging from traffic to elections. The last issue of each year contains an index.

The Municipal Street Railway System annual reports date from 1919 to 1937, although reports for some years are missing. Two reports exist for 1919; the second is a report on the finances of the Municipal Street Railway System by the Comptroller. The reports include financial information (in its first year of operation, the System operated at a loss of 18,000 dollars) and information on routes, including schedule changes and revenue, as well as other operating statistics.

Correspondence, legal opinions, and copies of legislation relating to a ten million dollar loan from the Reconstruction Finance Corporation to modernize the Seattle Municipal Street Railway System. The City issued bonds to pay for the loan. The system was reorganized as the Seattle Transit System under the direction of the Seattle Transportation Commission. Included are documents outlining the organization and authority of the Commission.

Photographic negatives documenting public works, city employees, and elected officials.

Correspondence, working papers, testimony, petitions, reports, and recommendations relating to zoning and mapping of neighborhood commercial areas. Includes four boxes of code, policy, mapping, and publicity files and seven boxes of individual zoning cases arranged by region of the City. Case files include pre-project zoning designation, Mayor's recommendation, Council committee recommendation, and final Council decision.
