"The Million Horsepower Skagit" is a short promotional documentary about the Skagit Hydroelectric project hosted by Kelly Guenther describes Seattle City Light activities and history in the North Cascades. Includes interviews with Saul Weisberg (Executive Director, North Cascades Institute), Jim Hannigan (Skagit Project Electrical Engineer), Shelby Slater (Chef, North Cascades Institute), Rick Wenrick (Boat Captian, Seattle City Light), and Oren Wilson (Ross Powerhouse Generation Supervisor).
Standard and widescreen versions (4:3 and 16:9) are both included in this video. Features archival footage filmed by Seattle City Light of the Skagit Hydroelectric facilities and surrounding area including Diablo Dam, Boundary Dam, North Cascades Institute, Newhalem, Skagit Information Center, Skagit General Store, Trail of the Cedars, Ross Powerhouse, boat tours, incline lift, cafeteria, Gorge Dam, and Ross Dam. Includes archival photos of Alice Ross III and J.D. Ross..
