City Clerk General Files ➔ Communication of Benezette Williams regarding a resolution stating that the services of J. F. Witmer, assistant to Benezette Williams, were "no longer required by the city of Seattle." Williams stated that Witmer was not employed by the City, but by him and any action by the City resulting in the discharge of Witmer "will be treated by me as a breach on the part of the city of Seattle" of Williams' contract with the City.
