Records include the charge or complaint, the investigator's activity log, witness statements, findings of facts, conciliation statements, pre-determination statements, file closure memoranda, and appeal statements.
Fire Department Distribution of Claims
Record of payments for equipment and supplies, building repair and maintenance, utilities, payroll, and other department expenses. Includes voucher number, name of payer, service or account type, and amount paid. Annual recapitulations are arranged by engine company and totaled by month.
Division of Purchases Annual Reports
The bulk of the annual reports for the Division of Purchases date from 1937 to 1950, with a few from the 1970s. The earliest report, for 1922, appears to be a draft. The reports summarize work done during the year and list savings.
Division on Aging Sponsors Minutes and Meeting Materials
Created in May 1971, the Division on Aging developed and maintained a comprehensive and coordinated planning and service delivery system for older citizens of Seattle and King County. It is sponsored by the City of Seattle, King County and United Way of King County and administers the Mayor's Office For Senior Citizens. In 1998 its name changed to the Division of Aging and Disability Services.

Also included are sample ballots and a sheet with instructions for voting.
Electrical Code Advisory Board Minutes
The Electrical Code Review Board was established by ordinance in 1964; its name was changed to the Electrical Code Advisory Board in 1969. It provided the City Council with research and recommendations for proposed changes to the building code. The board merged with the Building Code Advisory Board in 1992 to become the Construction Codes Advisory Board. Meeting minutes discuss issues including electrical equipment, inspections, and enforcement issues.
Register of Eligibles for Labor Service
Register of individuals eligible to work as laborers on Seattle's public works projects. Includes name, address, ward, age, type of work sought, and general examination average and rank. Also includes date certified for employment, employing department, position, wage, and other comments. This register was replaced by a card file in 1905.

Emergency Supply Committee Records

Human Rights Commission Minutes

The Commission was appointed by the mayor and reported to the Executive Department.

Licensing and Consumer Affairs Annual Reports

One volume indexes LIDs 1-2178 alphabetically by street name and numerically for numbered streets. It provides the LID number and a description of the improvement. Major Institutions Zoning Project Records

A major institution is a public or private organization providing educational, religious, medical, or recreational services to a community, and that dominates an area based on the amount of land owned and number of staff, clients, or visitors, and traffic impacts.
Majority Petitions
Petitions for street improvements containing signatures of sixty percent or more of affected property owners approving of work to be done. Includes report of BPW giving estimate of cost, amount of assessment against property, and total aggregate assessed real estate. Water Department Meter Reading Log Books
Meter reading log books arranged by meter number noting name or address, date, and meter reading. Four volumes cover four years: 1889, 1900, 1906 and 1907. The 1889, 1900 and 1906 volumes provide the name or building name and often the address as well, along with the meter number. The 1907 volume gives only the address with the meter number and appears to be for District 2.

Suggestion Award Board Minutes
Proceedings of Board established in 1951 to encourage employee suggestions that benefit the City. The minutes include a brief description of the suggestion, who submitted it, the department responsible for reporting on its feasibility, whether the suggestion was adopted, the estimated savings involved if adopted, and the award amount for the employee. Minutes from 1951 through 1969 are in bound volumes; minutes from 1970 to 1977 are in folders.
